About Us
We are a sustainable, regenerative small business
We operate from our smallholding in the rural Fife countryside. We produce and design products inspired by, and often created from, the local environment. Our aim at Lynnside is to move beyond sustainable living to regenerative practice, enhancing the quality of our land through our management.
Story
Our Story & Mission
When we purchased our little patch of farmland, we had a vision to create a sustainable lifestyle that would allow us to reduce our food miles and footprint. We have grown from having a few animals to having a well-stocked and functional smallholding that produces food for us and our animals, as well as other raw materials that we use to create our products.
Everything we produce is made with low impact in mind. Materials are home-grown or locally sourced. Our products are plastic-free and packaging is recyclable and compostable.
Original artwork and designs
We sell a range of kitchenware, greeting cards and prints bearing our original designs. These are inspired by the animals and environment around us. We also stock a limited number of designs by other British producers.
Skincare
We produce our range of natural skincare products which are made from simple, natural ingredients and provide care for your skin in the harshest conditions. These products are sold in limited edition runs.
Fleece and wool products
Each year, we shear our flock to keep them healthy and their beautiful fleeces are used to create sustainable, cosy clothing and homewares. We also support other local flocks by buying in fleeces at a fair price. Each fleece is lovingly crafted into the final product.
